As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Route in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site protocols, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control, badge checks, and general security-related operations in areas that may include offices, data-focused spaces, and other client-facing environments where conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
