Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Site Patrol in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech/media/telecom location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, following access control protocols, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help identify security-related concerns and report issues promptly.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated locations within a technology-focused location to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptions to daily operations.
• Support employee and visitor movement by verifying credentials, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and other site condition concerns that may impact the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
