The Opportunity Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader in Shipping & Receiving to join our team. The Team Leader in Shipping & Receiving will: Lead team members in tasks associated with the shipment/receipt of engines and engine components Train team members on policies and procedures, work duties, employee safety, etc. Administer employee performance reviews, hiring, promotion, and disciplinary actions Prioritize/assign shipping/receiving workload, including but not limited to priority (expedited) shipments, engine shipments, hardware shipments, STO’s, and misdirected shipments Schedule overtime requirements as needed to support schedule requirements Order/maintain packaging materials necessary to support engine and engine component shipments Respond to CARD Actions as necessary Obtain and maintain Hazmat Certification (IATA and 49 CFR) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of one (1) year experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, or engineering –or- a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, or engineering MS Office and ERP system knowledge is required; SAP preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills are required Responsible for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy U.S. citizenship is required Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
