Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Ukiah, California. Start date: 09/14/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,526–$2,753 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts. Setting: Short-term acute care hospital environment with obstetric and neonatal patient care.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for laboring, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal patients using the nursing process
- Monitor fetal status, labor progression, and maternal vital signs; support pain management and anesthesia as applicable
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and assist with deliveries (vaginal and cesarean) and neonatal stabilization
- Provide newborn care, initial resuscitation efforts when needed, and coordinate postpartum care planning
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary teams; educate patients and families; facilitate discharge planning
- Supervise and coordinate assigned nursing staff as needed; maintain a safe, healing environment and ensure adherence to standards of care

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery or related obstetric/NICU settings
- BSN degree preferred
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; CPR acceptable; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
- Demonstrated neonatal level II nursery experience for day shift
- Ability to work the listed shift and operate effectively within a labor and postpartum care environment

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Licenses and Certifications
- California RN license in good standing
- BLS (as specified) and CPR
- NRP certification
- ACLS certification
