Customer Onboarding Specialist

Position Summary We are looking for a professional who can ensure the success of onboarding new customers by collaborating with multiple teams to guarantee customer satisfaction. This role is perfect for a detail‑driven go‑getter who wants to positively contribute to our team’s success and increase their knowledge in the telecom space. Responsibilities Organize daily tasks by checking the status of service orders, scheduling customer installations, performing account provisioning and phone porting. Develop and maintain knowledge of the latest best practices and ALLO deployments to best support our customers. Handle incoming calls from customers and technicians, while also making outbound calls to coordinate installations and site surveys. Collaborate closely with internal provisioning and installation teams, as well as third‑party vendors, to ensure seamless business installations from start to finish. Exceed customer expectations by delivering passionate and exceptional service. Multitask effectively to handle various responsibilities and maintain a high level of productivity. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Post‑secondary education strongly preferred. At least 3 years of previous customer service experience. 1–2 years of experience in a role involving light project management or project coordination, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service. Experience and knowledge of Telecom, networking, MSP and/or security industry. Advanced computer skills and ability to learn new concepts quickly and solve problems logically. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Self‑directed and able to handle confidential information. Interest in all aspects of telecommunications and ability to challenge the status quo with a focus on continuous improvement. Working Conditions & Requirements Work location: In‑office with travel to ALLO markets as needed. Must be able to raise objects up to 25 lbs. Remain stationary for extended periods. Ability to communicate information and operate a computer. Possess or maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and meet travel requirements.
