We are adding a Director of Finance who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining financial controls and guidelines. This position will work close peer company partnerships on production, operations, and commercial strategies. We are looking for an entrepreneur-minded individual who is a self-starter and excited about growth. The role can be hybrid with 2-3 days per week in Los Angeles office. Responsibilities: Develop and implement ERP and chart of accounts, to transition away from a shared services agreements in place now. Collaborate with commercial sales, marketing teams, and production & operations partners to forecast accurately and drive strategic decision-making. Maintain internal controls for revenue receipts, costs, team and organizational budgets, and actual expenditures. Establish financial benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards in coordination with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures aligned with US GAAP standards and Global standards. Oversee accounts receivable / accounts payable team, and bookkeeping activities to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support reporting development across all functions through data modeling and analysis. Assist SLT with investor relations presentations and capital calls to ensure transparent communication with stakeholders. Manage various financial activities including contract manufacturing negotiations, co-packing agreements, general ledger postings, tax reporting, fixed asset accounting, insurance contracts/renewals, and cash reconciliations. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Strong understanding of banking processes and proficiency in financial data analysis. Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting. Demonstrated history of successful financial project management. Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant) preferred. Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft suite products, including Dynamics AX and Power BI. Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: $150,000 – 180,000 Annual bonus potential of 25% of salary.
