Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Cloud Data Warehousing and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will drive end-to-end data architecture, enabling scalable, secure, and AI‑ready data platforms that support advanced analytics and business decision‑making. What Your Impact Will Be Own and lead end‑to‑end solution architecture for data and analytics platforms Design scalable, high‑performance data solutions using GCP services Define data architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real‑time processing Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions Drive cloud transformation and modernization initiatives Ensure data quality, security, compliance, and cost optimization Incorporate AI/ML capabilities to enable predictive and intelligent analytics Apply data mesh and domain‑driven design principles to enable decentralized, scalable data ownership Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams What We're Looking For Data & Cloud Strong experience in Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake, Medallion, Data Vault) Hands‑on expertise in GCP, including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer (Airflow), Dataflow/Dataproc Technical Proficiency in SQL and Python Experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling, and performance optimization Knowledge of batch & streaming architectures and API integrations Architecture Proven experience designing enterprise‑scale data platforms Strong understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and data security (IAM, governance) Experience with modern data architecture patterns, including data mesh and domain‑driven architecture AI & Analytics Understanding of AI/ML use cases in data platforms Familiarity with GCP AI tools (e.g., Vertex AI) and ML‑ready data pipelines Preferred Skills GCP Certifications: Professional Data Engineer / Cloud Architect Experience with multi‑cloud or hybrid environments Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Power BI) Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices Mattel offers competitive total pay programs, comprehensive benefits, and resources to help empower a culture where every employee can reach their full potential.
