IT Support Specialist Retail (Onsite Fishkill, NY)

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technology support and an exceptional customer experience to employees for a global retail client. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, resolving, and escalating device hardware and application issues while supporting employees both in person and virtually.

This is a 40-hour per week, 6-month contract (possible extension), an onsite role requiring 5 days per week in Fishkill, NY.

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:
Provide an exceptional technology experience for employees by listening, asking questions, soliciting feedback, assessing and responding appropriately to customer device hardware and application issues, requests and needs in an efficient and timely manner.
Determine appropriate and alternative solutions from mostly defined procedures and options.
Research, diagnose, resolve or escalate technical and procedural issues from multiple service channels using multiple tools and documented processes.
Deliver a positive customer experience by creating a welcoming environment and providing best-in-class service through all support channels in person and virtually.
Ensure consistency in service quality and capabilities for an overall high level of customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate a sound understanding of relevant technologies and application products and understand the customer in a technology support environment.
Support employees both on-site and remotely.
Learn and apply process and technical knowledge in problem solving while multitasking and keeping stakeholders informed.
Take personal accountability to meet key performance measurements.

Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to develop and maintain good relationships with business partners and at all levels of the organization.
Ability to assess, diagnose and resolve technology issues.
Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment while keeping stakeholders informed.
Ability to learn and apply process and technical knowledge in problem solving.

Compensation: $28/hr. - $31/hr.
