Join a dedicated team that provides moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area caring for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care. The role involves administering intraoperative moderate sedation and circulating when not involved in sedation.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer moderate sedation and closely monitor patients' cardiac and physical status.
• Collaborate with the physician to ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Circulate in the procedural area when not providing moderate sedation.

Job Requirements

• Active RN License (New York License ONLY)
• Experience in moderate sedation is required.
• Experience in interventional radiology is required.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience or experience in a level 1 trauma facility preferred.
• Telemetry monitoring experience is required.
• Ability to circulate exclusively in the procedural area.

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

Schedule and Shift Details

Hours: 36 or 40 hours per week, with options for 10 or 12-hour shifts. Weekend and night on-call availability may be required.
