Instructional Designer

A financial services organization is seeking an Instructional Designer to create engaging, performance-based learning solutions in a hybrid setting in Vienna, Virginia; Winchester, Virginia; or Pensacola, Florida. This role focuses on developing eLearning, virtual instructor-led training, job aids, and other learning materials in partnership with subject matter experts and stakeholders.

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite at one of their locations)
• Locations: Vienna, VA; Winchester, VA; or, Pensacola, FL

• Design, develop, and maintain eLearning courses, virtual instructor-led training, job aids, and performance support materials
• Conduct needs analyses to identify learning gaps and recommend effective instructional strategies
• Partner with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to translate complex information into clear learning content
• Create and manage instructional materials using industry-standard authoring and collaboration tools
• Apply instructional design principles, visual design fundamentals, and accessibility best practices to learning solutions

• 1 to 5 years of Instructional design experience
• Experience designing and developing eLearning, virtual instructor-led training, and job aids
• Proficiency with Articulate Rise 360 and Articulate Storyline
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and business stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Experience supporting legal or compliance learning content
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content development
• Experience applying accessibility standards in learning design
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
