Supervisor, Distribution

Supervisor of inbound and inventory operations at a life-sciences distribution facility in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Oversee inventory management, warehouse operations, team leadership, and regulatory compliance including GMP and DEA controlled substance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control team to achieve accuracy targets, departmental goals, and operational objectives
• Supervise receiving, putaway, picking, shipping, and inventory transactions in accordance with SOPs and quality standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, productivity, compliance, and cost reduction
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Develop, coach, and mentor employees while ensuring adequate staffing and resource allocation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain, or operations experience
• Minimum 3–5 years inventory control, warehouse, distribution, or supply chain experience
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or team lead experience
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences preferred
• DEA-controlled substances program or highly regulated inventory environment experience advantageous
• Legal authorization to work in United States; pass background check and drug screening
