Registered Nurse - Trauma/Neuro Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shifts, 4x12-hour schedule (18:45 - 07:15)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Trauma and Neuro unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex cases involving severe injuries, orthopedic trauma, and neurological complications.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and manage IV therapy including heparin drips.
• Provide care for patients with colostomy and feeding tubes.
• Perform blood product administration and central/peripheral line management.
• Conduct phlebotomy and PICC line management.
• Monitor and manage dysrhythmias and oxygen therapy protocols.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and PPE usage.
• Utilize Epic documentation for patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience within the last 5 years.
• Active RN license required (NC or Compact licenses accepted).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Previous experience with trauma, neurology, or similar critical care environments is preferred.
