Compensation based on experience. Member Experience Representative $20 - $23 per hour | Washington, DC | On-Site | Consulting Credit Union in DC seeking a Member Services Specialist temp/perm! Job Details This is a contract-to-perm opportunity responsible for assisting members and potential members with their financial needs via any member channel, i.e., phone, email, internet applications, tickets, chats. It includes opening new accounts, taking loan applications, processing account transactions, resolving problems, and providing assistance and information regarding products and services. You will make business development calls by contacting members and offering Credit Union products and services to add value to the member's overall financial experience by championing the Credit Union's mission, vision, and core values. You will assist the tellers as needed. What you will do: Assist members via phone, chat, and email with financial transactions, opening and closing accounts, and applying for and closing loans. Answer questions about products and services and resolve problems within their authority through the internet, email, mail, and fax. Identify, sell, cross‑sell opportunities and actively cross‑sell products/services to members. Make outbound calls as needed to meet sales goals. Ensure appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared. Follow all security and compliance policies and procedures. Actively seek opportunities through outbound sales phone calls to enhance knowledge of products and services as well as member needs and notify members of opportunities available to them through the Credit Union. Support the Marketing & Business Development Team events. Provide support to the Training department with various projects and administrative responsibilities. Produce reports, act as platform administrator and schedule training. Act as liaison between members and various departments. Conduct thorough research to troubleshoot member issues and questions.
