ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Tamara Thompson - State Farm Agent is looking for a motivated Insurance Agency Intern whos eager to learn, stay organized, and help our team deliver a great customer experience. In this internship, youll support our insurance agents with day-to-day administrative tasks and customer follow-upplaying an important role in helping us attract new clients and retain existing ones.

As an Intern , youll use your attention to detail, friendly communication style, and interest in sales to keep things running smoothly in a fast-paced agency environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to build real-world skills in customer service, operations, and insurance sales support while exploring long-term career paths in the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• To be eligible for an internship, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently
• Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties
• Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
