Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo specialization opportunity in Fortuna, California. This position involves performing advanced ultrasound examinations with a focus on echocardiography (ultrasonography of the heart). The role requires delivering quality imaging and working closely within a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license in hand, 3 years of experience in ultrasonography with echo specialization, experience with ultrasound equipment, and proficiency in echocardiography procedures
• Certifications: ARDMS, BLS
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system and community hospital settings; additional relevant skills and certifications are a plus
• Additional Information: Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Candidates should be prepared to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment and forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
