Job Summary:
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is available in a facility located in Fortuna, California. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients within a high-acuity environment. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support positive health outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license, 1 year of recent ICU experience, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, prior acute care or ICU experience, and ability to work during major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
• Additional Information:
  • Travelers should be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays.
  • Candidates must possess or anticipate obtaining a valid California license prior to start.
  • The assignment involves floating within the hospital or to affiliated nearby facilities as needed.
  • References covering at least one year within the last three years are required.
  • The position requires a copy of certifications and specific charting experience with Epic.
  • RTO restrictions: no more than 7 days off.
  • The facility supports interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy.
  • Travel compliance data such as SSN, DOB, and RTO must be included at the time of submission.
