AP Supervisor

Accounts Payable Supervisor Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $107,500 per year. Job Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the accounts payable team to ensure efficient operations and performance. Oversee invoice processing to ensure accurate coding, approvals, and timely payments. Manage weekly payment runs, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks. Reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly. Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing accruals and reports. Requirements: Maintain accurate vendor master data and ensure compliance with 1099 reporting. Collaborate with internal teams to verify contract compliance and approval policies. Implement and uphold internal controls to support SOX compliance and audit readiness. Facilitate external audits by providing documentation and addressing inquiries. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance AP efficiency. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (preferred). 5+ years of AP experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. Demonstrate knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance. Use ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle proficiently. Communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities with strong analytical skills. Century Group
