Sr. Manager New Product Introduction (hybrid)

Job Overview The New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Senior Leader will lead NPI strategic initiatives, manage a team responsible for developing and executing standard work, and influence product design to drive predictability and repeatability into Operations. The role will support strategic and financial planning, lead training and career development, and collaborate cross‑functionally with program office, engineering, and manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Support strategic and operational planning for the MiS NPI Org; lead and coach the NPI Operations team from product inception through successful Gate D or project completion. Develop, modify, and review NPI systems, processes, tools, and reporting methods. Set clear performance expectations, provide regular coaching and feedback, and support career development for team members. Promote a culture of trust, accountability, and operational excellence; ensure adequate resourcing and manage staffing and succession plans. Collaborate with Program Office, Engineering, and Operations Manufacturing to drive KPI initiatives and represent Operations in developmental decision making. Direct OPM support to capture lessons learned for major programs, facilitating retention of lessons to reduce risk. Develop NPI vision and strategy for AS9145 within operations manufacturing and supply chain. Travel business up to 25% of time. Required Qualifications University degree and minimum 10years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 7years, or 14years of experience in lieu of a degree. Direct people‑leadership experience, including conflict resolution, change management, fiduciary and budget responsibility, communication across all levels, employee coaching, and escalation to senior leadership. Ability to drive outcomes in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment with innovation, transparency, diplomacy, and strong cross‑functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications Experience with NPI and deep understanding of product development processes, program lifecycle management, and manufacturing readiness. Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries. Knowledge of RTX RLPM framework or similar phase‑gate product lifecycle systems. Salary and Work Arrangements Salary range: $132,400–$251,600 per year. This is a U.S.-based role that may require hybrid work; preferred location is Richardson, TX, with consideration for Cedar Rapids, IA or Rockford, IL.
