The Payroll Specialist is a professional responsible for managing the payroll processes within an organization. Their primary role is to ensure that employees are accurately compensated for their work, including wages, salaries, bonuses, and benefits, in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist in processing weekly certified payroll on required customer and standard forms.Assist with collective bargaining monthly reporting & reconciliation.Support internal and external audit requests related to payroll.Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including wage rates, taxes and benefit deductions.Conduct routine time and payroll record audits to ensure accuracy.Assist in calculating and processing layoff/termination checks.Process payroll for multiple companiesMonitor and respond to employee inquiriesSupport year-end payroll reporting and tax documentation as needed.Analyze garnishment orders, setup deductions, and process weekly paymentsMinimum Qualifications1- 3 years of experience preferred in related field.Associates in accounting or business-related field preferred.Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Communicate effectively both orally and through writing and work cooperatively in a fast paced, diverse team environment.Experience with CMiCFamiliarity of multi-state tax regulationsExperience with multi-craft unions a plusExperience with UKG is beneficialAll Keeley Brands (Keeley Construction Group, Keeley Properties, Keeley Restoration, Keeley Companies) do not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms, headhunters, or agencies.
