The Recruiting Team @ Pave We're a small, high-leverage team — two recruiters and a dedicated coordinator — operating as trusted advisors to leadership on every major hiring decision. We own full-cycle recruiting across all levels and have real influence on how we attract and win top talent in a competitive market. We're also in the middle of building an agentic AI compensation analyst, which means you'll be recruiting in an environment where AI tools are actively shaping how work gets done. What You'll Do Own the full hiring cycle: Drive end-to-end recruiting for R&D roles across Engineering, Product, Design, and Data — from sourcing passive candidates and crafting precise Boolean searches to closing senior hires who had multiple competing offers. Become a strategic partner — not a req-filler: Work directly with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, pressure-test job specs, build pipelines ahead of headcount approval, and contribute meaningfully to workforce planning as we scale. Source where others don't: Build and execute creative sourcing strategies using Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and unconventional channels. The candidates we want aren't applying — you'll go get them. Close with a data advantage: Own the candidate experience end-to-end — interview coordination, offer strategy, compensation discussions — and leverage Pave's own market compensation data to close candidates with confidence and transparency. Build the infrastructure, be ready to scale: Own pipeline metrics and reporting in Greenhouse and Gem, design and run our interviewer calibration and training program, and continuously improve recruiting process quality. Use AI as a multiplier: Bring genuine fluency with AI-powered recruiting tools to your day-to-day — candidate research, outreach personalization, pipeline summaries, sourcing signal. We're building AI-native workflows internally and expect you to be part of that.
