Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Create finance problems based on work you have performed, including relevant filings, assumptions, constraints, and reference answers.
• Review AI-generated financial work for accuracy, including financial statement tie-outs, accounting treatment, valuation assumptions, and sensitivity analysis.
• Identify outputs that appear polished but would not withstand review under disclosure requirements, audit standards, or the underlying financial evidence.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain financial reasoning clearly.
• Comfort working through ambiguous tasks and raising unclear instructions.
• Relevant backgrounds may include accounting and auditing, corporate finance, investment banking, asset management, wealth management, insurance, or actuarial science.

Work Terms

• Remote, hourly project work.
• Projects may begin with limited notice. Matching opportunities depend on current project availability and may arise within a week or take several months.

Compensation

Rates vary by specialty, project scope, and depth of work. Finance projects have offered $60 to $180 per hour.
