Maintenance Tech II

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech II to join our team. This role involves diagnosing pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems, troubleshooting electrical components of equipment, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance. You will also install and repair production machinery, including CNC Press Brakes, Punch Presses, Welding equipment, and Painting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical components of equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Install and repair production machinery such as CNC Press Brakes, Punch Presses, and Welding equipment.

Essential Skills

• Experience with CNC Machinery, Punch Press, Press Brake, and Shear.
• Proficiency in Industrial Maintenance Mechanics.
• Skills in troubleshooting and repairing PLC controls, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Capability to handle high noise levels and exposure to metals, lubricants, solvents, and dust.

Work Environment

This position is based in a metal fabrication manufacturing environment. You will work amidst machines such as Punch Presses, Break Presses, Welders, and Paint Equipment. Be prepared for high noise levels and contact with various materials including metals, lubricants, solvents, and dust. The role involves exposure to moving machinery, mechanical parts, and varying temperatures, especially in areas of the building that are not temperature controlled.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
