About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:00 - 22:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS preferred Must-Have: ICU or PACU experience required Description: Call needs include one weekend and one night per week. The unit features 26 beds with a variable number of staff. Staffing includes a charge nurse and usually a float nurse on day shift. Night shift is typically closed with two PACU nurses on call. Patient ratios are 1:2. The unit uses EMR technology, specifically Meditech. Ideal candidates should have experience in general, neuro, oncology, orthopedics, and vascular surgical procedures. Candidates without the required skill set will not be considered for the role. The best personality fit is easy-going and pleasant. There are no specific certifications required, but ACLS is highly regarded. Unit guidelines follow ASPAN standards. This position offers state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive staff environment.
