Revenue Manager

Overview The Revenue Manager will support the Starwood Revenue team, executing revenue strategy, distribution, and pricing across multiple properties to drive revenue growth. Responsibilities Support ADORM with revenue strategy, distribution, and pricing for multiple properties. Support distribution initiatives, increasing hotel room revenues from channels such as Direct Web, voice, GDS, or 3rd party intermediaries such as Online Travel Agents. Coordinate with 3rd party internet marketing vendors, CRS providers and other intermediaries used daily to increase hotel revenues. Identify and deploy RM & Distribution tools and technology requirements for Starwood‑managed hotels. Stay abreast of demand trends and market conditions, translating them into revenue management strategies to maximize hotel revenue. Present strategy recommendations to General Managers and Director of Sales & Marketing, and implement and monitor the strategy. Maintain oversight over Reservations Departments (property or call center based) and work closely with Sales & Marketing, Catering, Finance and Front Office departments. Use strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills to support decision‑making. Qualifications Post‑secondary diploma or degree (preferred). Excellent knowledge of distribution strategies associated with PMS, CRS, and GDS (HMS and Sabre). Knowledge of various central reservations systems, 3rd‑party extranets, and chain CRS. Hotel Revenue Management experience related to pricing, budgets, pace and performance. Competency in channel mix management to achieve highest RevPAR at property or chain level. High level of analytical skill. Excellent command over Excel, Visual Basic, Access, etc. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
