Description – What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and others—adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure test result integrity through meticulous analysis, error resolution, as well as preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory devices.
• Oversee specimen collection and the preparation of samples for accurate testing as required.
• Document all procedures with precision, assist in training new team members, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment while being compliant with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing certification maintenance is a requirement for the duration of your employment.
