Primary Responsibilities What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols.
• Review test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are well-maintained and properly calibrated.
• Assist in specimen collection and expertly prepare samples for subsequent testing.
• Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, provide guidance for new staff members or students, and uphold the high standards of lab quality control.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree combined with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of your hire date.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
