We are currently seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Automotive Service Assistant to support our fast-paced Service Department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a collaborative environment, and has strong administrative and communication skills.

Position Overview

As an Automotive Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Service Advisors, Business Development Center (BDC), and customers throughout the service process. You will help ensure smooth day-to-day operations by managing customer communications, creating repair orders, and providing administrative support to our service team.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently. Schedule service appointments and direct customer inquiries to the appropriate department. Generate and prepare repair orders accurately. Follow up with customers regarding appointments, service updates, and completed repairs. Assist the Business Development Center (BDC) with customer follow-up calls and appointment confirmations. Support Service Advisors with Xtime communications, including customer updates, approvals, and service recommendations. Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records. Assist with daily administrative tasks within the Service Department. Provide outstanding customer service while creating a welcoming and professional experience. Work collaboratively with advisors, technicians, and management to ensure an efficient service process. Qualifications

Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred. Automotive dealership or service department experience is a plus but not required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable using computers and dealership software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn. High school diploma or equivalent required. Benefits
