Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13–26 weeks) | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a strong focus on MS/Tele patient populations
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and maintain annual compliance requirements
• Float to other qualified units or campuses as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR
• Must meet facility distance eligibility requirements for travel nursing assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Experience working in a high-acuity Medical Surgical environment
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance and onboarding processes
