Job Description Job Description Job Opportunity: Headache Specialist Our organization is seeking a full-time headache specialist who embodies our core values, demonstrates self-motivation, and thrives in a collaborative environment. A strong enthusiasm for clinical education is essential. While fellowship training in headache medicine is preferred, substantial experience in the dedicated management of headache disorders will also be considered. This role is ideal for a clinician educator eager to engage with residents and medical students, both at the bedside and within the academic setting. Currently, our team includes three headache specialists and an experienced nurse practitioner dedicated to serving our community, and we are in the process of establishing a new Headache Fellowship. Faculty members contribute to general inpatient teaching services for 2-4 weeks each year. Our department also boasts specialists in dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders, neurocritical care, and stroke. Additionally, our Neurology Department is supported by clinical research coordinators and regulatory personnel. Our faculty, hailing from diverse institutions, have united in the picturesque Southern California region to create a collegial program that provides comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients. This expanding region features a low cost of living and excellent public and private educational institutions. Faculty members may also qualify for federal student loan forgiveness programs. Compensation & Benefits The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $240,000 to $290,000, adjusted according to years of experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to departmental compensation plans.
