Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced, closed-door pharmacy embedded within a behavioral health hospital setting in Plano, TX. This contract-to-hire, full-time position offers a unique role supporting the hospital’s medication needs, focusing exclusively on behavioral health medications. The pharmacy operates similarly to a long-term care model, combining walk-in clinic support with efficient outbound prescription fulfillment using automation and streamlined workflows.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Type: Contract-to-Hire, Local Only, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense behavioral health medications in a high-volume environment (350-400 scripts per day)
Utilize Enterprise RX software (training provided) to support pharmacy operations
Maintain a reliable presence and demonstrate accountability in daily workflow
Support pharmacy operations within a closed-door setting without administering vaccines
Collaborate closely with pharmacists and other technicians to ensure timely and accurate prescription processing

Qualifications:

Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Texas (required)
Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy technician experience; 2 years preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Strong attention to detail and reliability essential
Previous experience supporting behavioral health or similar specialized pharmacy environments a plus
