About the role GX is seeking a full-time Data Analyst to join the Data group reporting to the Data Director, Americas. The analyst will: Support the end-of-day publication and QA process by ensuring all customer-facing indexes are delivered on time and accurately. Coordinate with the Pricing Team to capture requirements and implement new data features Update logic, launch new indexes and build robust data pipelines conforming to the company’s coding standards Become an expert user of our proprietary pricing platform, helping ensure data quality and supporting other users. Collaborate with the Development teams to test new functionality and provide feedback on platform improvements. Manage local workflows and coordinate with international teams to ensure client data is published on time globally. Build new tools, processes, and Python scripts to clean, normalize, and transform market data from our sources into our internal format Support day-to-day management of models, monitoring outliers, and maintaining data integrity. Learn and grow their knowledge of commodity markets and price assessment processes. What we're looking for MinimumBachelor’sdegree in a relevant field from a leading university/college Experience with Python for data engineering,processingand analysis.Pythontest will be required. Proficient working with Excel. Comfortability using AI tools, such as ClaudeCode, in day-to-day tasks. High level of numerical statistical ability. Accuracy and attention to detail. Team working skills and ability to take initiative. Relevant degree, qualification, or experience that demonstrates capability and learning suitable for this role. Interest or experience in traded commodities, oil, or energy markets (preferred but not required) We offer Full-time role, working out of our Houston office.
