Inside Sales / Operations Support Representative

We're looking for a well-rounded Inside Sales / Operations Support Representative to join our steel pipe distribution team in Woodland, WA. This role blends customer support, sales coordination, and collaboration with our yard and operations team. You won't be tied to a desk all daythis position offers a balanced mix of office work and real-time coordination with materials and inventory, giving you a more connected view of how orders move from quote to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support customers with quotes, order entry, and product inquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Work closely with operations to confirm inventory, availability, and order details
• Occasionally step out to the yard to verify materials, check specifications, or support order accuracy
• Coordinate with shipping, receiving, and sales teams to ensure smooth order flow
• Build strong relationships with contractors, fabricators, and industrial customers
• Assist with tracking orders, updating customers, and resolving issues as needed
• Maintain familiarity with products, pricing, and inventory levels

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years of inside sales, sales support, or customer-facing experience (B2B or industrial preferred) Background in steel, pipe, aluminum, lumber, construction, or similar industries is a strong plus Comfortable working in a role that blends office coordination and team collaboration across operations Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities Basic computer skills (order systems, email, Microsoft Office) Team-focused with a willingness to support where needed

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
