Title: Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerks
Duration: 2+ months
Location: Albany NY 12205
Shift Timings: Mon-Fri (8:00-3:30)
Pay: USD 20/hr-USD 22/hr

Position summary:
This role includes verifying payment information, posting payments into an in-house tax collection system, preparing bank deposits, reconciling daily transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. The position requires excellent attention to detail, strong data entry skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Verify that payment checks are completed accurately and contain all required information.
• Match payment checks with corresponding tax bill payment stubs.
• Process approximately 300 tax payments per day.
• Post payments into the in-house tax collection system.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to process large volumes of transactions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good mathematical and reconciliation skills.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience preparing and reconciling bank deposits.
• Experience processing high-volume transactions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with accounting, finance, or tax processing systems.
