Pediatric Hospitalist

Our client in CA is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to begin a 15-day assignment. This role involves 24-hour out-of-house call, including morning rounds for newborns, NICU, and pediatric units. The Physician will perform intubations, UAC, UVC, thoracentesis, and manage inpatient admissions and discharges across ER, OB, and a NICU. Practice Info EMR: Cerner Setting: Inpatient Patients Per Day: 3-4 nursery, 0-4 pediatric, 2-7 NICU Staffing Mix: One other pediatrics provider on schedule Shift & Schedule LOA: 15 Days Call Schedule: Out of House Call Responsibilities Conduct 2 hours of rounding in the morning for newborns, NICU, and pediatric unit patients. Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage. Perform procedures including intubation, UAC, UVC, and thoracentesis. Cover inpatient cases in the ER, OB, and NICU. Manage patient admissions and discharges.
