Quick Facts Location: Gastonia, NC (a leading facility in Gastonia, North Carolina) Start Date: 04/28/2026 Shift: 20 hours/day coverage (specific shift times will be discussed) Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certifications: NC Nurse Practitioner License (Board Certified in Neonatology) Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (excluding RN experience) Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00 hourly rate (discussed upon application) Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance with prescription coverage Competitive retirement programs (401k with company match), Employee stock purchase plan Life Insurance and Short/Long-Term Disability options Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements Additional perks such as flexible spending accounts and identity protection What You’ll Do Provide advanced neonatal care within a Level-III NICU environment Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary team members to deliver patient-centered care Support newborns and their families through complex medical needs and stabilization procedures Assist with coverage for the newborn nursery and inpatient neonatal units Participate in care planning, family education, and discharge procedures Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and medical records What You Need Valid NC Nurse Practitioner license and Board Certification in Neonatology (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications are not accepted) At least 2 years of recent experience as an NNP; RN experience does not count Strong clinical skills in neonatal critical care and family communication Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team About the Assignment Join a state-of-the-art NICU nestled in a hospital recognized as a Top 100 Hospital by Thomson Reuters.
