Join Our Dynamic Team as a Night Shift RN in the Renal Med-Surg Unit Job Description: - Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Unit: 21-Bed Renal/Medical-Surgical (Acute & Chronic Kidney Care) - Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) - Schedule: 36 hours/week, Every other weekend required - Contract Type: Travel/Temporary Why This Role Excites You: - Be part of a fast-paced, high-acuity unit specializing in the care of patients with renal challenges. - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs. - Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, ensuring the highest level of patient safety. - Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. - Float as needed to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders. What We’re Looking For: - Active Ohio RN license (required at submission) - Current BLS certification - Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience (renal experience strongly preferred) - Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips - Epic EMR proficiency (mandatory, no training provided) - Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and efficiency in a busy environment - Competency test required on Day 1; failure results in immediate contract termination Additional Information: - No on-call requirement - Holiday Coverage Required Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
