About the Position

Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Duration: 13 or 26 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, CRT; Preferred certifications include ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT Must-Have: Trauma experience required Strong desire for candidates with all levels of experience in NICU/PICU/Adult ICU. Description: The position requires a Respiratory Therapist to work with pediatric and adult patients. Candidates will need to perform a variety of respiratory therapies including NIV, high flow, nebulizers, and CPT. Experience with Draeger and Servo ventilators is preferred. Candidates will provide care in a setting that includes an adult ICU, PICU, and NICU. The role includes covering for various unit needs and will not involve on-call requirements. Weekend work is required. Candidates must be available to work major holidays, including Christmas. Time off requests will be considered on an individual basis. The facility uses Epic for charting. Documentation of patient care and adherence to protocols is essential. Strong communication skills and teamwork are vital for success in this role. Candidates should possess the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple patient needs effectively.
