About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Peds/Adult Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience License: Must possess a valid license Certifications: BLS, CRT (ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT - Preferred) Must-Have: Trauma experience required Description: Respiratory Therapist role specializing in pediatrics and adults. Assignment length is 13 weeks. Shift is 3x12 variable. Candidates with at least 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must have experience in a Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU setting. Weekend work is required. There is no on-call requirement. Candidates will float within their scope to meet facility needs. Accommodation for block scheduling is not available. Local candidates are not accepted; current address must be at least 50 miles from the facility. All time-off requests must be included in the initial application. Candidates must be available to work during major holidays, including Christmas. The unit includes a 28-bed adult ICU, a 9-bed PICU, and a 66-bed Level 3 NICU. The facility also supports floor therapy and Level II trauma for adults and pediatrics. Candidates will utilize various respiratory therapies, including NIV, high flow, nebulizers, and more. Familiarity with Draeger, Servo-I, and Jet ventilators is preferred. Candidates may expect to float to nearby facilities as needed. References are required as part of the application process. Candidates must not contact facility staff directly unless for an agreed-upon interview.
