Kitchen Utility Specialist

Job Purpose Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Part‑Time Kitchen Utility Specialist will support the chef with dish washing, food prep, and general hygiene of the kitchen area. Responsibilities Break down lunch upon arrival to kitchen: Pack leftovers from lunch service, clean counters, wash dishes, set up tables for dinner service. Prepare items for lunch service the next day: Clean fruit and set up the salad bar. Stow food orders that arrive at the kitchen in an orderly manner. Complete final cleaning at the end of the day: Put away dishes, sweep floors, and wipe counters. Schedule 20 hours per week. Expected to be in the kitchen Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Occasional opportunities for weekend events. Benefits Location is metro accessible. Invited to take food home after dinner has been served. All cleaning products and materials for assisting the chef are provided. The kitchen has a dishwashing machine on site. Opportunities to be trained by the chef and for advancement in professional cooking. Qualifications No qualifications are necessary.
