This position is a weekend shift: Thursday-Sunday 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM with overtime as needed.What You'll Be Doing (% of Time)Perform preventative, predictive, and breakdown repair on all critical machinery, auxiliary equipment, as well as facility maintenance. Troubleshoot Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic equipment including PLC controls. Installing conduit and making drops choosing the right sized components and materials to complete electrical circuits. (65%)Machining / fabricating / welding parts for production equipment and process improvement upgrades. (20%)Assist in determining available options and order parts needed to make necessary repairs to equipment and building (10%)Assist in establishing an effective, professional relationship with contractors for building and facilities projects. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:An associate degree or equivalent college or technical school is preferred.3 years of experience in maintenance, related field is required.Maintenance & Repair: Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical power systems. Must have detailed knowledge of PLC controls and automation. Must have working knowledge of heating, air conditioning and building maintenance.Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Analysis/Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Mathematical Reasoning: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Safety: Ability to consistently prioritize safety by demonstrating a safe work practice by promoting a safe work environment.Quality: Ability to follow work instruction precisely, add materials accurately and maintain ISO documentation.Work Independently: Ability to follow both written and oral instructions, including safety guidelines, work instructions, and company policies.Computer: Ability to use the internet to research parts, communicate via email and use maintenance software program to record and accept work requests.Travel RequiredThis job requires no domestic travel.Work Status & LocationThis full-time, non-exempt position is in Gallatin, TN.RelocationRelocation is not available for this position.Pay$25.29 - $40.48 / hourEssential FunctionsThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
