- OurCalling – Chief Advancement Officerby | Sep 14, 2026The Chief Advancement Officer provides strategic leadership to the advancement team, relationally investing in a portfolio of donors and providing support to the entire OurCalling staff in identifying innovative ways to support ongoing day-to-day operations and future expansion projects and programs. He/She will lead through a humble, supportive and collaborative approach in leading their team and working collaboratively with donors, business leaders, and community stakeholders to achieve the organization’s current fundraising plan. The CAO will serve as an executive member of the C-Suite and will partner directly with the CEO, COO, CPO and CFO to execute, own, and lead the growth for the future.### Requirements* **An Executive-Level Fundraising Leader**: Casts vision and executes comprehensive campaigns with integrated marketing and communications expertise, leading at the C-suite level to build and direct high-performing teams in dynamic environments.* **A Relationship Builder & Stakeholder Expert:** Demonstrates executive presence and relational depth to connect intentionally with high-net-worth individual donors, church partners, and community leaders to drive long-term fundraising growth.* **A People-Centered Leader:** Pastorally leads, hires, equips, and cares well for team members, fostering unity and maintaining strong leadership through complex or unexpected situations.* **A Mission-Driven Advocate**: Shares a heartfelt commitment to addressing homelessness and social challenges, aligning fully with OurCalling’s vision to serve unsheltered neighbors with dignity and care.* **A Dynamic & Compelling Public Speaker:** Confidently represents the ministry in a wide variety of settings, articulate in sharing OurCalling’s vision, programs, and opportunities for involvement during tours, donor events, and community, church gatherings.### Why We Love This OpportunityFrom the first moment I walked into OurCalling, I experienced a team who cares for the least of these with dignity and the love of Jesus. It is rare to see a team united in mission providing long-term, comprehensive, and relational care for the most vulnerable day-in and day- out the way that the team at OurCalling does.### About OurCallingThe Mission of Our Calling is to help neighbors experiencing homelessness walk with Jesus, get off the streets, and into a healthy community. We are passionate about loving and helping our unsheltered homeless neighbors transition to better lives. We are a faith-based ministry where every job is a ministry position. While everyone on the team wears multiple hats, our primary function is helping people walk with Jesus and getting them off the streets.We want everything that we do to point to Jesus. We serve 300-500 guests daily. We operate a “no-barrier” navigation center for the unsheltered homeless community. We are not a shelter, instead we help people enter into long term programs and recovery centers across the country. Our vision is for all neighbors to be in a healthy community, cared for with dignity, and connected intentionally to the body of Christ and the services they need.### About Dallas“I love working at OurCalling because it’s the rare place where the Gospel and practical care aren’t in tension – we invite our neighbors to walk with Jesus and offer them a real path off the streets in the same breath.
