Payroll Manager
An organization is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee the full payroll process while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient payroll operations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage payroll processing for salaried, hourly, and grant-funded employees
- Review and approve payroll registers, wage payments, and tax filings
- Manage payroll calendars and year-end reporting including W-2s and 1099s
- Maintain payroll systems and confidential employee records
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding, offboarding, and employee status changes
- Reconcile payroll accounts and support general ledger postings
- Assist with audits, compliance updates, and payroll system improvements
Ideal Qualifications:
- Strong payroll management experience
- Knowledge of payroll tax filings and compliance requirements
- Experience working with payroll systems and reporting tools
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
