Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement is required
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Familiarity with special education best practices, accommodations, and differentiation
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction to students in self-contained and/or resource settings
• Develop, review, and monitor individualized goals and learning plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Track progress, maintain thorough records, and prepare necessary reports
• Provide input during team meetings and contribute to ongoing program improvements
• Adapt teaching strategies based on student data and evolving needs
