Location: One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):The Diagnostic Radiological Technologist - Cardiovascular (DRT-CV) is a member of the Cardiac Catheterization Team with current and active experience scrubbing in for Electrophysiology Procedures and Interventional Cardiology procedures in the Cardiac Catherization Suite. He/she must be able to independently carry out a variety of complex physiological and radiological procedures. He/she performs highly specialized invasive radiological cardiovascular, structural heart, intra coronary ultrasound and complex electrophysiology procedures without the direct supervision of a Cardiologist. The Contractor's Diagnostic Radiological Technologist-Cardiovascular shall cover the range of complex physiological and radiological procedures as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards.Requirements:Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and/or Registered Radiology Technologist with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT).Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified.Cardiac Catherization Suite. relating to Electrophysiology Procedures and Interventional Cardiology Procedures in the and expertise, i.e.: any education, internships, licenses, certifications, or awards in areas Diagnostic Radiology Technician - Cardiovascular specialized trainingActive and current experience for Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Cardiovascular.Catherization Suite.
