Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, 36 hours per week

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Contract

Requirements:

• Michigan nursing license
• BLS certification
• 2+ years of experience in a medical surgical unit
• Trauma level experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments.
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain patient safety and quality care through evidence-based practices.
• Leader in improving patient outcomes by serving as a clinical resource and role model for peers.
• Participate in lifelong learning and professional development activities.

Compliance / Notes:

A 3-strike attendance policy is in effect, impacting contract continuation. Situations such as communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed.
