Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on full clinical evaluations. Provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team. Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patient plans of care. Treat residents one-on-one through private, individualized sessions using a functional-based treatment approach. Deliver personalized therapeutic and rehabilitative care to senior living residents to improve quality of life. Requirements Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school. Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment. Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills. Minimum commitment of 8 hours per month to maintain active employment.
