Maintenance TechnicianThe Level#4- Maintenance Technician role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing facility and production equipment to support the facilities manufacturing schedule.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Follows all documented safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.Responds promptly to safety hazards and machine breakdowns.Understands and interprets blueprints required for work.Performs routine mechanical repair on equipment.Completes documentation related to the task at hand.Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.Maintains excellent safety record.Maintains excellent attendance record.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred.Skills:Interpersonal skills.Basic computer knowledge.Demonstrate initiative in addressing and/or resolving repair issues.Effective communication skills.Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Physical requirements:Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)Working conditions:Must have a basic knowledge of hand and power tools.Must have personal tools up to one (1) inch.Must be able to stand and/kneel frequently, lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and work in a manufacturing environment.Must be available on an on-call basis.Education:High School Diploma or GEDTechnical certification in a related field preferredCompany BenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
