IT Support Administrator

Part-Time IT Support Administrator Location: Greenville, OH 45331 Total Regular Hours: 20 per week (4 hours 5 days) Work Days: Monday‑Friday Overview The Coatings division develops, produces, and markets a wide range of coating solutions, from applied surface technologies to automotive coatings. At the Greenville site, IT directly supports safe and reliable manufacturing operations. This role focuses on hands‑on support, user enablement, and stable IT operations across the site. Primary Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for all IT incidents and service requests on site. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues. Manage and prioritize IT tickets based on business and production impact; coordinate escalation with regional or global IT teams as needed. Support new user onboarding including device setup, account creation, and system access; manage access requests across SAP, MES, shared drives, and business applications; ensure timely off‑boarding. Own all site printers and production/label printers; handle installation, troubleshooting, coordination with vendors, and inventory management of consumables and replacements. Support scanners, tablets, and other mobile or shop‑floor devices; perform upgrades and routine maintenance; troubleshoot integration with MES, SAP, and network connectivity. Support local IT infrastructure including endpoints, connectivity, and network components; maintain understanding of network architecture, firewalls, and security; identify and escalate infrastructure or security issues to central IT teams. Work directly with production, maintenance, and operations teams to resolve IT issues; identify recurring problems and drive corrective actions; support rollout of new technologies and digital initiatives; maintain accurate documentation of systems, devices, and configurations. Requirements Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. 1–3 years of IT support or infrastructure experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with end‑user support and ticket management. Familiarity with printers, scanners, mobile devices, and hardware support. Basic understanding of networking concepts and IT security. Exposure to SAP, MES (e.g., Vegam), or similar enterprise systems preferred. Strong problem‑solving skills with a structured approach. Clear communication with both technical and non‑technical users. Ability to work independently in a site‑based role. Customer‑focused mindset with high responsiveness. Success in This Role (First 6 Months) Reliable IT support with fast response and resolution times. Stable operation of printers and shop-floor devices. Efficient onboarding process for new employees.
