IT Network Administrator

Responsibilities include but not limited to: Ability to be an on-site IT point of contact for all offices across the Upstate. Cover 150+ users and 250+ equipment nodes. Maintain computer networks and systems, including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware. Keep servers and workstations updated and protected with the latest patches, AV, and firewall protection. Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues; coordinate with vendors to facilitate EMR upgrades and migrations, and implement third-party solutions. Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected. Manage, upgrade, and monitor WatchGuard firewall system with web blocking, AV scanning, signature checks, geolocation blocking, active threat protection, botnet detection, and data loss prevention policies. Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks. Monitor servers, systems, and network equipment and traffic with central MSP software. Communicating networking issues to other employees and management. Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems.
