About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Scientific Officer to lead its scientific vision, strategy, and execution within a multi-disciplinary research and development organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and advancing a long-term scientific roadmap that is in line with business priorities, overseeing a diverse scientific portfolio, and driving innovation in areas such as advanced cell-based systems, organoid and organ-on-chip technologies, and in silico modeling. This executive will also be accountable for identifying scientific gaps and opportunities, prioritizing investments, and determining the best path forward for scientific programs, whether through internal development, partnerships, or external collaborations. Candidates for the Chief Scientific Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in life sciences, with a strong preference for those holding a PhD in a relevant scientific discipline. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and scaling scientific organizations, leading innovation in both experimental and computational biology, and delivering applied or translational outcomes. Experience with next-generation biological models, data-driven research environments, and cross-functional collaboration is essential. The role requires a leader with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, operate effectively in dynamic, high-growth environments, and maintain strong communication skills and executive presence. The Chief Scientific Officer will also be expected to establish best practices in scientific standards, reproducibility, and data integrity, and to ensure that scientific capabilities are translated into meaningful, scalable offerings that align with the company's commercial strategy.
